Help my baby, please!
My baby was born in May 27, 2010, and diagnosed a giant baby cause of weighted 4550g.Routine blood-sugar is 1.2mmol/L, without any obvious symptom like cyanosis and clonuses，then hospitalized at newborn in maternal and child health institutions in Nanjing, China.
FINS was 31 after born 3 days and transfused dextrose in addition hormone, but this wasn’t effective, blood-sugar was still dropped and low to 1.7.
Then Pediatric Hospital Shanghai replaced the former on Jun 19.The blood-sugar was level off by a week after keeping with dextrose in substance. In this time, doctor adjusted blood-sugar when it fell by taking orally more sugar. We checked INS tow times after living in. One time was 8.1 when 1.9 blood-sugar, the other was 13.6 when 1.7 blood-sugar. The doctor said may be pancreas amassing and suggest Diazoxide treatment. So it was start at 9 Jul and 20mg one time, 3times a day. But blood-sugar didn’t descend when fell from 9mg/min/kg to 3-4mmol/L. Then had to up-regulate Diazoxide to 30mg while baby weighted 6.38kg, and it still didn’t work with keeping blood-sugar 6mg/min/kg.
The doctor suggest operate, but PICC,MRI is needed too. If it cannot find the cause of diseases, they only can do is resection of the 90%-95% pancreas by blindfold. What can
I do now?
