修改托福作文 如今的家长比起以前的家长更多的参与到小孩的教育中
Nowadays with the increaseingly rapid economic globalization and urbanization more eduation issue are brought to our attention. More people want their children to get a better education environment. I think parentss nowadays are more involved in children’s education.
First of all, parents now who have a good economic condition may want their children to get a better education. They don’t hope their offsprings lose at the start line. As a result, those who hold high hopes for theirs child put a heavy burden on their so young children and let their young child learn to play musical instrument, dance, sing and such extra course. While in the past, people didn’t care about their childrens’ study because they were lacking in necessities of life.
On the other hand , now social competetion has become more and more intense, the academic pressure has also become heavier and heavier. Parents today, therefore, send their chindren to extra classes during weekend to review or re-study the knowledge that children have studied in their normal classes. For example, during my school days I have taken part in the extra math class. Although my parents knew it was a heavy pressure which can push their only down ,they didn’t have any choice due to the overheat competetion. In the past, however, parents won’t send their children to those expensive extra class.
Last but not the least,parents nowadays arbitrarily choose major course for their children without considering the interest of the children. Parents choose the major only take the finance condition into consideration. They only choose those majors which can help their children get a better paid job, like accounting, economy and medical science. Admittedly, parents choose the major course indeed have some benefits, but their children may lost the passion of study. On the contrary side ,it is the chilren who got more invovled in choosing the major course.
For what has been discussed above, it is obvious that parents get more involved in children’s education than parents in the past.
