Please be informed that a minor (below the age of 21) will be eligible to apply for Singapore citizenship if both (or either) of the Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) parents wish to apply for Singapore citizenship under the Economic Scheme (own merits). The SPR parents may include the citizenship applications of his/her child(ren) below the age of 21 years old as a family unit. His/Her children's' application will fall under the Family Ties Scheme.
5
Alternatively, when both (or either one) of the SPR parents become a SC, the SC parent may then apply citizenship for the child provided the child is unmarried and below the age of 21.
6
As each citizenship application is assessed under different Articles of the Singapore Constitution, each applicant is required to complete a set of citizenship application form.
