Why is Spongebob such a good show? Is it the setting? The answer could be the setting, or that it's just a great Nicktoon. And there's lots more reaso...ns, but which one is it? My reason is that it's a great Nicktoon with fun characters. Spongebob is funny and caring, Patrick is funny and dumb, Sqwidward is conceited and selfish. There are lots more reasons that make the show what it is, but I can't list all of them. What do you think makes it great? 2Comments on Parent Trap I would like to regard this movie as a generally accepted traditional comedy with an “reunion” ending. What makes this movie stand out of its kind is its well-designed story line that caters to audience’s tastes and little humorous scenes that captured audience’s heart and the great theme behind the its comedy facade. Unlike Chinese classsics, Parent Trap doesn’t have very complex relations among all characters, it’s quite plain in its outline. A couple decided to part with each other and twins were separated at birth. Years later, the twins’ chance encounter in the Summer Camp evoked “sibling spirits” between them. Soon later, their similar history presented by their parent lead them to think of a possible fact that they share same parents. Here the well-designed story line sheds light on our life too. It seems to me that people nowadays are always praying for something they already have, like the twins who might have imagined day and night how wonderful it will be to have both parents like everybody else? while in fact, they always did. People are always after “fortunes” should see that they have a safe, healthy, well-being life and a harmonious family which should already be considered a kind of priceless fortune to all of us. It’s very clear that we should see the point is not to own more or even own everything, but make our ultimate efforts to preserve those invaluable pieces that you already have with you. On this point, I have to admit the twins did a wonderful job in reuniting their parents and of course, in punishing the “family breaker”.
